I've been MIA for about a month now, but I'm back! 

I've been back from Japan for about 3 weeks now and I haven't blogged since then >< Been very busy and have very little time for myself. 

I will blog about my Tokyo trip in another post, but for now, this will be an update post :)

1) Welcome to working life

I finally got a job and I started working right after I came back from Tokyo. I've worked for 3 weeks only and, so far so good. I'm learning a lot through bits and pieces. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to learn from my colleagues in ways you never learnt in university lol.

Also, my working hours are from 10AM -7PM and I work right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Travelling to and fro takes me about 2-3 hours a day. After I end work, I take a train home, quick shower, quick dinner, relax and watch anime and sleep. Repeat lol.

So yeah, working really takes up a lot of time, therefore, weekends are so PRECIOUS ><

2) Hair update

Its been a while since I've been thinking of doing something to my hair. Also, I started to really dislike my bleached blonde hair because the colour is horrendous, my hair is really really dry, and its basically dead lol.

So! I decided to chopped them off xD

And this is my new hair now!

Okay, the tips of my hair still have some bleached bits but I'm so much happier without the rest of it :D

3) Anime

The anime that I was watching is Hunter x hunter. After watching that, I decided to watch a new anime. So, I browsed through Kiss Anime and came across quite a few interesting anime. But! The anime that I decided to watch first is Free! lol.

I heard that this anime is really popular, but, I didn't have the slightest clue about what the story was about. 

Yes yes its about sports and swimming - that sounded pretty normal; quite similar with Prince of Tennis. But when I started watching, it was eye candy all the way xD

The characters are really good looking and they're so cool xD Plus, since its about swimming, they're topless half of the time - nice bods lol.

RIGHT?!?!! xD

These two are my favourite characters; Rin and Haru.

4) Holiday Planning

Since I started working, holidays are really precious. I've only started working for 3 weeks and I'm thinking of my next holiday already lol.

I was thinking of planning a trip this mid year to either Seoul, Korea or, your's truly, Japan lol.

Surprisingly, the air flight is reasonable! That makes me more tempted ><

I miss Tokyo already T.T I will definitely go back someday :D 

5) Gunz 2

I don't know if you could see this coming, but, I am a gamer lol. I really enjoy shooting games like Gunz, Call of Duty, Counter Strike, House of the Dead, Battlefield? Lol.

Anyway, I played Gunz a lot when I was 13 - played till level 30+ but then I stopped because I got bored and had to study.

So, this year, Gunz 2 was released and I played it again. It really brings back a lot of memories lol. How nice me and koibito play Gunz together :P

I stopped playing since I went to Japan though lol.

This is the best burger ever! - Soft Shell Crab Bruger at Jibby & Co.

My first time drinking Vietnamese Dip Coffee at Absolute Viet. Even though I dislike coffee, this is by far the best coffee I ever tasted! :D

Skinlite Exfoliating Foot Mask

I have not done a mani/pedi since 2013. Even so, I only had a mani/pedi once in 2013! ><

I would love to get one every now and then but to be honest, mani/pedis are expensive when you do it very often. I don't have that kind of money to splurge T.T

Hence, my nails, skin and feet are not in a very good and groomed condition lol. And my feet is full of dry and dead skin. I HATE IT - its so coarse, my feet looks dull and the rough skin is very unpleasant. All I wanted to do was get rid off my dry and dead skin.

It was such a coincident that I stumbled upon Cheeserland's post - Baby Foot. I was so impressed by it because that was something I really needed for my feet! >< Before this, I didn't know such things even existed lol.

So, I went to Sasa to check it out. And.... Baby Foot costs RM54.90. There was a promotion at that time - 2 for RM80+. I was really tempted to get it but I was feeling stingy lol.

In the end, I replaced with another; SKINLITE Exfoliating Foot Mask

It is a much much cheaper replacement compared to Baby Foot. It only costs RM9.90.

The condition of my feet before I wore the foot mask. Don't be fooled! That's a whole layer of dead skin! ><

On the packet, it says you can wear it for 60 - 90 minutes. I wore it for 60 minutes, removed the sachet, and took a shower. Wash your feet thoroughly :) You can also walk around while wearing the foot mask.

For the first 3 days, nothing happened. My feet still looked the same and showed no signs of peeling or whatsoever.

But on the fourth day, this happened;

Day 5 - 8;

Day 9 - 14;

Here's when the fun begins; Peeling

I went to gym that day and jogged on the thread mile. A lot of the dead skin dropped then. And more dropped during/after my shower.

After all that peeling, my feet has finally been renewed lol. It felt so smooth and pleasant xD

Results;

# It took about 14 days or more for the complete process

# My feet only showed signs of peeling after 5 days

# My feet is very soft and smooth after the peeling process

BUT!!

Since it took about 2 weeks to complete, by the time it has reached day 14, my feet started to become dry at certain areas. Dry skin will eventually become hard and thus, dead skin. It kind of defeats its purpose because; by the time my feet stops peeling (and its supposed to feel brand new), I already have dry skin forming around my feet. Hence, I do not have 'new feet' at the end.

Bottom line - this product takes too long. 

Not only is 14 days long enough but, you have to wear the foot mask for 60 - 90 minutes also. For Baby Foot, it takes about 7 days (or slightly more) to complete and 30 minutes duration for the foot mask. Conclusion, Baby Foot cuts the time by half.

In some ways, I feel cheated lol. But at least I know what to expect from this product now. And I can share my experience with you :) One day, I WILL definitely try Baby Foot lol.

Today, I went out with Melissa to Pavilion. The girl needed retail therapy lol. The Chinese New Year decorations there are extravagant. So pretty! :D

Since 2014 is the year of the Horse, there are horses everywhere! :D

You can always trust Pavilion for awesome seasonal decorations lol.

-ISM Architecture Exhibition

Last night, I attended an architecture exhibition by architecture students from Taylor's University.

If I'm not mistaken, the exhibition is still on going until a certain date. It is held at White Box, Publika.

What's the exhibition about? - Taylor's University graduating architecture students displaying their awesome final projects :)

A friend invited me to attend it and I went. Another 2 of my friends' work are displayed in the exhibition as well. Their projects are really good! I circulated the exhibition and EVERYBODY'S WORK IS GOOD. I feel so pressured ><

The theme of the exhibition is -ISM. A clearer definition from the Facebook event page; -ISM is used in philosophy to identify a specific style of philosophy or in another word, theory. It reflects not only on our three-years encounter with architecture, but also the on-going urge to move forward, and that these styles of philosophy apply the same in architecture, theories that describe ways of thinking about architecture.

I thought it was a cool concept :)

Before the exhibition, we had dinner at Ben's. I had this delicious Pad Thai Seafood Linguine :)

Also, I realised that Publika has a huge influence in graphics. I've been to the 2 different toilets at Publika and each toilet has a different graphic. They're really interesting :D

I usually don't take photos of washrooms but this was quite cool lol.

Its been ages since my last post!

Happy belated Christmas and a New Year! Its 2014 already ><

Nothing much has happened in the past few days. Been watching a lot of movies; Insidious Chapter 2, The To-Do-List, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Conjuring, and more.

I forgot to mention that koibito is back from Melbourne for summer break :)

Me and family went to Lot 10, Sungai Wang, and Pavilion on New Year's Day.

I really enjoy Pavilion's Seasonal Decoration. They really put in a lot of effort and its really pretty :)

Also, a few days ago, I've dyed my hair back to a brown shade.

This time, I used Liese Bubble Hair Color in Elegant Ash.

I was thinking of dying my hair back to a darker shade for quite a while now. I got bored of my 4 toned hair plus it was really ugly. I didn't want to spend more money maintaining my roots as well. The hair dresser I went to at Melbourne didn't do a good job -.-

Anyway, Its my first time trying Liese. Elegant ash has a green-ish and grey-ish tone. Since the ends of my hair were bleached, they're slightly green now. The rest of my hair became brown.

My hair has a slight gradation. From brown to ash green. I'm fine with this hair colour but I regretted not dying it black instead.
