Daiso Double Eyelid Sticker

This is another post of a Daiso product. I'm a cheapskate sometimes. Lol. But if it works, why not?

I was born without any double eyelids. Previously, I didn't bother to buy any double eyelid glue or tape but recently, I've been quite experimental lol.

This double eyelid sticker is rather special. It has an eyeliner line on it. This is for lazy people like me. Hehe. Also, I'm really bad in applying eyeliner. I'm sure you understand. Lol.

So, this sticker is supposed to make your eyes bigger and attractive because of the eyeliner line on it. And, of course, you will look like your wearing eyeliner without really applying it.

When I first tried it, I was expecting poor quality and 'not so sticky' quality. But to my surprise, I was wrong. It was really sticky. It can last really long on your eyes. I was expecting the worst because, the first time I bought double eyelid stickers (many years ago), they couldn't stick well and they kept falling of my eyes. Bad quality.

Another thing about this Daiso product is that, the sticker is matte. As in, it kinda looks like frosted glass (I wonder if that makes sense lol). When I wore it on my eyes, I was really self conscious because I was afraid people could immediately see the sticker. Though it was really sticky, it wasn't invisible enough.

I found this sticker to be rather long - or is that normal? I do not have any experience at all on how to wear this. It was trial and error for me.

Since this sticker has the eyeliner line on it, I had to place it as close as possible to my eyelash to make it look natural. If I placed it slightly higher, it would look so weird lol. Also, since I have to place really close to my eyelashes, they can become quite itchy and annoying sometimes.

This is me with the sticker. I look and feel weird. I guess I'm not used to it. Lol. Does it seem like I'm wearing eyeliner? @.@

The double eyelids remain. Sometimes they remain for a short while and sometimes they can last till the next day. 

There are a few types of this double eyelid stickers at Daiso but I think trying one is enough for me. I find it too time consuming to wear these stickers all the time. Lol.

If I do buy double eyelid stickers again, I'm interested to try the nude coloured ones ;)

Daiso Black Eyelash Glue Review

Hello there!

I'm back with yet another review. This time its about Daiso's Black Eyelash Glue! :)

(I didn't know how to smile with this. Its so awkward. Lol)

Before I begin, there are a few things I would like to mention;

1) I never wore fake eyelashes before, therefore this is the first time for me - I'm not a professional! ><

2) This eyelash glue from Daiso costs RM5 and I'm not very sure if its safe to use @.@

3) The next day after I wore this, my eyes became very itchy. Its possible I had a skin irritation from something else or from this particular product

4) As I've mentioned in previous posts that I had acne prone skin, I'm announcing here that I have edited them away in these pictures lol

5) Lastly, I don't have double eye lids or so

Okay! Let's begin.

So, I thought wearing fake eyelashes would be very difficult (I can't even get eyeliner right -.-) but to my surprise, it wasn't so bad! Or maybe I was just lucky this one time lol.

I was browsing around Daiso one day and came across this eyelash glue. I thought it was interesting because, Black Glue? Lol.

Since its black in colour, it makes it look as if you're wearing eyeliner as well. That's what they said on the advertisement ><

So, yes I bought it and thought I should give it a try, Here's how the packaging looks like.

This particular Eyelash Glue doesn't come with a stick/wand for easier application but I thought it was alright the way it is. 

The fake eyelashes that I'm wearing are these:

I have no idea what brand it is. I just got it off some random shop in Melbourne for $2 lol. But as you can see from the picture (my sister also pointed this out), the band is really thick and big. Therefore it makes the eyelash 'heavier' on my eyes.

The result of me wearing fake eyelashes;

1) My eyes look bigger

2) I instantly have double eyelids 

3) I look more dolly. I feel strange lol.

4) My pupil/iris looks bigger and fuller as well. As if I'm wearing the Big Eyes Contact Lens.

Now let me show you the difference;

(The filters somehow vanished half of my left eyebrow)

Isn't that a huge difference? Lol. 

I can 100% promise you that I wasn't wearing any make-up at all except the fake eyelashes of course. Nor am I wearing any double eye-lid sticker or glue (I don't even know how to use them!@.@)

The Black Eyelash Glue plays a huge role as well. Its amazing how one small thing can change your appearance so much!

Don't mind me. I'm just being amazed. Its my first time after all. Lol.

Here's another reason why I think its cool - The glue doesn't leave any black traces on your skin after you remove the fake eyelash and glue. It also clumps together :) (Or was it supposed to be this way all the while? @.@)

How was my first time wearing fake eyelashes?

I thought they were very heavy! Its like my eyes couldn't open to the fullest. Lol. And I have very itchy fingers; I felt like scratching them out ><

Regarding to what I mentioned above, my eyes felt itchy the next day. I kept on scratching them because they felt like tiny ant bites on my eye lids. So right now, I don't know if its just me who reacted this way or the product is not a safe one :(

If you ask me whether I would recommend this product, my answer would be a yes and no. Lol.

Why? Yes - I love the product and the result. No - I'm worried you might get the skin irritation as well :(

So its entirely up to you to try it!!

Daiso and Stickers

I made a trip to the new Daiso in the city last week and bought a bunch of stuff (unnecessary).
Daiso is located at Shop 204, Midtown Plaza, 246 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000. It is right beside the Telestra building. It's sign board shows Dick Smith as well.

It's quite big I must say. Bigger than Malaysia's one perhaps. But in Australia, everything in Daiso is A$2.80. Whereas in Malaysia its RM 5 per item. And in Singapore its $2 per item. Not sure which is cheaper.

Let's see what we have here (totally unnecessary items) :

Chocolate Moulds

 I bought this to make DIY chocolate moulds. Will talk about it in the upcoming posts.

Green Tea Biscuits

 When I was at the food section, the biscuits appealed to me. There was Green Tea, Milk, Strawberry and Chocolate. I couldn't decide which flavour to buy. So with the help of a friend (Thank you xD), she said 'Get Green Tea' and so I did.

It wasn't that great. I couldn't taste much of the Green Tea flavour. The biscuit itself overpowered the Green Tea. And it's not very sweet (if you like that). But it is an addictive snack (somehow).

The Lucky Cats

 When I saw this cat, I grabbed it immediately LOL. It was really unnecessary but I fell in love with it when I first saw it even though I don't believe in it being lucky. I just had to get a pair. One left and one right.

Lucky Cat Stickers

This was another one that I fell in love with. And I didn't mind paying for this one because I love to collect stickers as part of my collection. There was another sticker similar to this one except it was the kimono range. I was thinking real hard which one should I get and my dear* friend told me I could only get one and she helped me pick this one. This was ncecessary xD

Aside from Daiso, last Thursday I met up with a friend in the city. Before meeting up, I went to a shop in China Town, Little Bourke St and bought Rilakkuma Stickers. I love Rilkkuma so much xD

If you love Rilakkuma, this would be nothing LOL. I would love to get a Rilakkuma plushie but my heart always ached when I saw the price tag :(  Will save up for it perhaps.
