Daiso Black Eyelash Glue Review

Hello there!

I'm back with yet another review. This time its about Daiso's Black Eyelash Glue! :)

(I didn't know how to smile with this. Its so awkward. Lol)

Before I begin, there are a few things I would like to mention;

1) I never wore fake eyelashes before, therefore this is the first time for me - I'm not a professional! ><

2) This eyelash glue from Daiso costs RM5 and I'm not very sure if its safe to use @.@

3) The next day after I wore this, my eyes became very itchy. Its possible I had a skin irritation from something else or from this particular product

4) As I've mentioned in previous posts that I had acne prone skin, I'm announcing here that I have edited them away in these pictures lol

5) Lastly, I don't have double eye lids or so

Okay! Let's begin.

So, I thought wearing fake eyelashes would be very difficult (I can't even get eyeliner right -.-) but to my surprise, it wasn't so bad! Or maybe I was just lucky this one time lol.

I was browsing around Daiso one day and came across this eyelash glue. I thought it was interesting because, Black Glue? Lol.

Since its black in colour, it makes it look as if you're wearing eyeliner as well. That's what they said on the advertisement ><

So, yes I bought it and thought I should give it a try, Here's how the packaging looks like.

This particular Eyelash Glue doesn't come with a stick/wand for easier application but I thought it was alright the way it is. 

The fake eyelashes that I'm wearing are these:

I have no idea what brand it is. I just got it off some random shop in Melbourne for $2 lol. But as you can see from the picture (my sister also pointed this out), the band is really thick and big. Therefore it makes the eyelash 'heavier' on my eyes.

The result of me wearing fake eyelashes;

1) My eyes look bigger

2) I instantly have double eyelids 

3) I look more dolly. I feel strange lol.

4) My pupil/iris looks bigger and fuller as well. As if I'm wearing the Big Eyes Contact Lens.

Now let me show you the difference;

(The filters somehow vanished half of my left eyebrow)

Isn't that a huge difference? Lol. 

I can 100% promise you that I wasn't wearing any make-up at all except the fake eyelashes of course. Nor am I wearing any double eye-lid sticker or glue (I don't even know how to use them!@.@)

The Black Eyelash Glue plays a huge role as well. Its amazing how one small thing can change your appearance so much!

Don't mind me. I'm just being amazed. Its my first time after all. Lol.

Here's another reason why I think its cool - The glue doesn't leave any black traces on your skin after you remove the fake eyelash and glue. It also clumps together :) (Or was it supposed to be this way all the while? @.@)

How was my first time wearing fake eyelashes?

I thought they were very heavy! Its like my eyes couldn't open to the fullest. Lol. And I have very itchy fingers; I felt like scratching them out ><

Regarding to what I mentioned above, my eyes felt itchy the next day. I kept on scratching them because they felt like tiny ant bites on my eye lids. So right now, I don't know if its just me who reacted this way or the product is not a safe one :(

If you ask me whether I would recommend this product, my answer would be a yes and no. Lol.

Why? Yes - I love the product and the result. No - I'm worried you might get the skin irritation as well :(

So its entirely up to you to try it!!

Graduation!

This is a rather late announcement/post, but yes I have finally graduated! :D

Actually I graduated last Thursday which was on the 22nd of August, 2013. I'm glad it is over! :)

I have studied for a total of 3 years, if I'm not mistaken. This includes studying in The One Academy, Taylor's Lakeside University and Swinburne University of Technology. I've moved around unis (a rather complicated story) and finally ended up in Swinburne Uni doing Bachelor of Interior Design. 

And.... I'm also back in Malaysia for good lol. I flew back from Melbourne last Saturday. When I arrived home and took a shower, my nose started bleeding like crazy @.@ Too hot I guess heh.

Anyway, here's some pictures of my graduation :)

My name was the third person in line (for the Interior Design Students) to get the cert. I was so so so nervous. My heart was pounding madly and I had cold sweat >< There were so many people in the hall and that made me scared. But after I went up and got my cert and got back to my seat, I felt so relieved. Its over! :D

And one more thing. I have not mentioned this on my blog before but I'm yet to turn 21 this year. Hehe.

Anyway, its good to be home with my family and nice cheap food. Lol. The day after I returned to Malaysia, we went to Ikea and the Curve.

After that we ate at Thai Express. I had Tom Yum and it wasn't that great >< It was too spicy and the amount of meat is little. Oh well.

The rest of the food were alright. It was just my Tom Yum lol.

To the City!

Just the other day, I went out with my girl friend, Maria, to the city to hang out :)

Oh I missed her xD

We chatted, ate, and shopped. Not really shopped but window shopped lol. Most importantly, spent time together xD

We met at Flinder's Street Station and I decided to eat at Nama Nama, Spring Street. She made me decide where to eat lol. 

Nama Nama is a Japanese restaurant and what I really like about it is for their good food (of course lol), Japanese waitress/waiters, and the fact that they use sustainable materials in the interior and for their furniture. I support! xD

The both of us were really hungry so we ordered Sushi and Udon :)

Mine was Unagi and Tamago sushi whereas Maria's Sushi was Tuna and Mayo Sushi.

すごくおいしいよ！＾－＾

I ordered Udon with Pork, Vege and Quail Eggs. Oh soo good xD

It costs $15. Quite pricy ><

After lunch, we headed to Myers (or was it David Jones?) to have dessert at Brunetti xD

While eating Ice cream, Maria asked me to open the gifts she got for me (she handed them to me earlier at lunch). 

And.........these are what she gave me! :D

Oh! I like them so much! Thank you again Maria! xD

She's an ASOS fan lol. Such a nice girl too xD

After dessert, we walked around for a bit and we checked up on the perfume section. And my new wish list item is.....

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Perfume! xD

This is how the bottle looks like. Cute isn't it? xD 

It isn't out in Malaysia yet. I think its quite new as well in Australia. And the original price is $89.90 @.@ I shall wait for the price to drop and then I might consider buying.

The scent of this perfume is a mixture of bubblegum and cotton candy. To me lol. From this you can tell its a sweet scent eh? The scent is not very strong and that's why I like it. It's not too strong until you feel you will get a headache lol. 

One thing I really like bout Australia is that, the perfumes are cheap. Well, at least cheaper than Malaysia lol. I bought 2 perfumes from here and its so much cheaper! Will show you in another post :) By the way, the perfumes are not fake or pirated. 

The current sale I saw at Priceline Pharmacy has;

1) Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume 30ML now at $29!

There were more but these are what I remembered. 

I've bought Mariah Carey's perfume before (Blue bottle) as a gift to my Aunt. Sorry I can't remember the name as well.

I was really thinking whether I should get Lady Gaga's Fame and Katy Perry's Purr perfume. But in the end, I decided not to get it. Because I know that I really want Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday xD

Anyway, back to topic lol.

After browsing around, me and Maria decided to head home. We got tired I guess lol.

When I reached home, I had a nice shower and had my dinner. Decided to pamper myself as well xD

Wore a face mask hee! 

I got this mask from It's Skin for free! I only got it for FOC because I spent a certain amount lol. I received 2 masks actually. 

I've used this mask first when I was back in Malaysia.

I'm not sure if its me or the product, but when I used these masks, I did not get any breakouts or rashes after it. That's a good sign! :D

My face was very moisturised and fresh after removing the mask :)

Oh. And today, as in 3rd March 2013, I painted my nails again. By myself this time lol.

I was searching for a Barbie Pink colour and I finally found it! xD

I got this at The Face Shop for RM5.90. So pink :) And my nails are quite messy lol.

On the day and after

Hello there! :)

I'm back in Australia y'all xD

Finally I have the time to blog since I've arrived! Hehe.

This post is about the day of my flight back to Melbourne and what I did after I arrived :) Not literally right after I arrived but you know lol.

On the day of my flight (which is at night), I went for a haircut again xD I know I cut my hair just recently but it was growing long again. Too soon lol.

So, I decided my hair until my collar bone this time :)

Oh! And I bought a new lipstick ><  I'm wearing it in the picture above lol.

NYX Lipstick in Fire Colour :)

The day before my flight, I bought this lipstick from Sephora, Paradigm Mall for RM19. Happy xD

This lipstick becomes rather dry on my lips after a short while therefore it makes my lips feel uncomfortable. Because of that, I have to apply 1-2 layers of this lipstick and then apply 1 layer of lip balm on top of it to keep it moisturised. 

Anyway, on the day of my flight, I had lunch with Melissa at Levain :)

Melissa picked me up from my house and along the way, we got lost for about 45 minutes - 1.5 hours. If we're not lost, we're stuck in a massive jam. It's either these two lol. But this does not happen all the time! Just a few times xD

We had our lunch around 3.30pm and boy were we hungry xD

At Levain, I ordered Beef Aglio Olio and Mango Juice. Yay! xD

The food was really good but I did not feel full and satisfied after eating this. I was still hungry xD

So....I ordered dessert! :D

After eating and chit chatting, which was around 4.40pm I had to rush home to finalise my packing. When we left, we got stuck in a heavy traffic jam for about 1 hour. And the jam was totally unnecessary -.-

When I reached home, I showered, locked up my luggage, ate dinner and went to the airport. Settled the check in and was ready for my flight. 8 hour flight. I'm glad it was at night so that I could sleep and time will pass by faster lol.

By the time I reached my apartment in Melbourne, the only thing I could think of was, SHOWER lol. And brush my teeth of course hehe. 

Started to unload my luggage and sort things out. By the time I finished unpacking, koibito arrived at my place. Just in time for lunch :)

By the way, did I tell you before that koibito studies in Melbourne as well? Maybe I did lol.

And we had......Japanese food. How asian lol.

After that, we chilled and hung out the whole day. Bought groceries as well and cooked lol. And the next day, I met up with a friend at Lucky Coq, High Street.

We had good $4 pizza. Yeah xD

After lunch, koibito headed home and I continued to chill with my friend. We walked around Chapel St and decided to get a cup of chocolate.

After chocolate break, my friend had to be somewhere else so he walked me home and that was it for the day.
