Hey there!

I know I said I would update about my latest hair cut and this is it! xD

 Okay.. I don't think this picture shows it properly. More like a teaser lol.

This is my hair before cutting. Quite long actually ><

I've rebonded my hair in 2011 and it has lasted till now. So my hair is really slippery and straight. But its too straight and heavy till my hair gets pulled down and makes my hair look flat. It wasn't layered as well which adds the extra weight. 

It such a pain during winter lol.

Besides that, I've dyed my hair as well xD

I've decided to try Beauty Labo Shake and Scoop in Milky Beige. Its really easy to do plus I'm happy that the colour managed to appear on my dark hair lol.

I tried hair mousse dyes before in Melbourne and it did not work at all. The brands I tried before were Loreal and Schwakopf. Not only that, I bought blonde hair dye and it did not work -.-

I trust Japanese brands more lol.

I used 2 bottles of this product for my long hair and then only cut it short. 

What you must know about this product ;

1) It is a DYI hair dye

2) It had a very very strong chemical smell when I applied it to my hair

I'm not sure what chemical was that but it had a super strong release and it made me hard to breathe. 

Other than that, it was prescribed to leave the dye on your hair for 30 minutes but I left mine on for about an hour. I know I shouldn't have but I was worried the colour would not appear after such a short time ><

This is my hair colour under light. Not sunlight. It will be brighter under sunlight lol.

So what I can say about it is that;

1) I know it definitely works (I was quite skeptical that it wouldn't)

2) It is damaging to your hair no matter what

3) It may cause dry hair and itchy scalp

4) Hair loss may occur

I've been advised to stop dying my hair and I will stop. Though I've always wanted to try dip dye with pastel and wild colours T.T

I also realised that my hair has been thinning. Not to mention that I have oily scalp plus dandruff. Because of that, I will have to really stop dying and other unnecessary treatments. Have to take care! ><

This is a better picture of my hair I guess lol. The colour isn't very obvious in the picture though.

Royal Herb EX Cream Review

Hello there!

In this post, I'm gonna review a skin care product called Royal Herb EX Cream.

This is my first review of a product lol.

I've received a tiny sample to try out from my mother's colleague. If I'm not mistaken, she gave this sample to me after seeing my face condition (which is bad).

It is a very interesting product I must say. It's the only product I ever come across that has gold dust in it lol.

I'm not sure why I can't find the official website of this product. Therefore I will briefly explain whatever I know of this product (which isn't much lol).

This product is from Japan. It is available at Sephora outlets.

The first time I saw this product (before I received the sample), I thought it was a very cool product. It looked sophisticated and yes its very expensive lol.

If I can recall, I think the price I saw for the average packaging costs about RM300-500. I'm not sure of the exact amount but its roughly around there.

Referring to the time I was at Sephora, I tested a small amount of it on my hand and I thought it was alright.

It has a gel-ish texture. The gold flakes will dissolve and disappear into your skin once you start massaging it in circular motion.

The scent is decent and not too strong which is a good fact.

Based on the piece of paper that came together with the sample, these are the benefits of the product.

And here are the instructions on how to use it. 

So on the day I received it, I immediately tried it at night after washing my face and applying toner and moisturiser.

How was it for me?

Well, after applying a small amount on my face, my face felt really sticky and oily. 

It took some time for it to absorb into my skin therefore leaving my skin feeling very slimy.

Because of that, I kinda dislike it because I really do not enjoy slimy, sticky and oily products on my face and skin. 

Other than that, when I woke up the next morning, I had a new pimple growing around my chin area and I had a red, blotchy patch underneath my right eye (cheek area).

Ever since then, I was afraid to use it because of what it done to my face.

This was how my skin reacted to this product but it may react differently on your skin. 

My skin's condition is a combination of oily and dry and it is very prone to breakouts and acne. Therefore using the right product for my skin is very important.

I'm so jealous of people with good skin T.T

Problematic Skin

Hello everyone!

Have you ever felt this way?

You just woke up from your sleep and the first thing you do is look at the mirror. Your face. And you see a whole load of pimples/acne. That actually hurt and throb if you accidentally brushed up against it. And then you feel like you don't have the self confidence and self-esteem to look and feel pretty for the day.

 I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way! ><

During my O-levels exam (17 years old), I had a huge break out of acne all over my face. especially my forehead. And they hurt so much! Ever since then, I just kept on getting pimples and acne all the time. Even on my back. That's why I don't dare to wear any bare-backs or clothing that will reveal the back. It's so sad. I envy people with fantastic skin! T.T

I've tried various skin care products and nothing seems to work! It's really frustrating when you keep on trying and hope that things will get better but they don't. Sometimes it gets worst -.-

I even went to see a dermatologist to check out what's wrong with me. The doctor told me that its hormonal imbalance and there's nothing I can do bout it but just wait for it to go away.

That really does not comfort me. What if they don't go away? T.T 

I'm so jealous when I see people with clear and fair skin. Not to mention anti scars as well! No fair!

I have scars and marks on my face from previous break outs. I attended facial treatment previously and gosh was it torturous! There was a moment when I was undergoing extraction and it hurt so bad that I teared up. Why suffer right? T.T

The dermatologist recommended me to take either Antibiotics for my skin or Roaccutane. He said that Roaccutane works 98% faster (if I'm not mistaken) therefore I chose that.

I was advised to consume 10mg (1 pill) per day. As a result, my skin was super dry until it was flaking, my lips hurt and the skin on my fingertips were peeling. These are normal reactions to anyone who consumes this medication.

Not only that but I had other side effects as well. I had dry eyes, blur vision, back ache, and headaches. People in the UK and Europe consume about 70mg per day! I can't imagine how dry their skin will be!

But other that that, I can say that it has helped me quite a bit. But I do not recommend people to consume this as it is very strong. 

Besides that, did you know? While consuming Roaccutane, you must never ever ever get pregnant! If so, your baby will have defects. How scary! ><  After consuming it, you have to wait for 1 month till you can try for a baby. It is that strong lol.

The acne has subsided. They aren't as big and painful as before but I still do have some tiny pimples popping out here and there -.-

So for now, I've stopped consuming Roaccutane as my mum disagrees with it after seeing all of the side effects that it has caused me.

At the moment, I'm using a facial cleanser from the same dermatologist and I find that it helps me. Compared to other commercial skin care products that is lol.

Gel based

Becomes foamy easily after lathering

I like the fact that it is a gel based facial cleanser. All you have to do is squirt out a tiny drop and it will be more than enough to wash your face. It is also fragant free!
