Bangkok Trip 2014

After what seemed like ages, I'm back with a proper post. Lol.

Melissa and I went on our much awaited trip to Bangkok last month. I really needed this. A 4D3N getaway!

Gosh, it was super tiring. We didn't do much sight seeing, it was mainly a shopping trip :P

Gonna bombard this post with photos.

 Pork Burger at MOS, Siam Paragon. If the portion was bigger, that would be great. Lol.

Introduced Swensen's Ice Cream to Melissa for the first time. Best decision ever! The ice cream there is really delicious and affordable.

I ate this durian ice cream twice lol. It was just so good :D

We bought Hokkaido Milk several times during our trip. Plus, we got some limited addition flavours that time! (eg; Manuka Honey, Melon, Manuka Honey Yogurt)

One night we decided to watch a movie, Lucy, at Siam Paragon.

Who knew we ended up paying 480 baht for the Royal Grand Theatre lol.

 At Asiatique.

We shopped so so so so much during our trip. Melissa's luggage was nearly overweight and she had trouble zipping her bag lol.

We did more stuff than this, but I didn't take many photos so yeah, here's all there is too it!

The next day I went back to work, I was like a zombie. So so so tired.

We walked and shopped and ate so much. The foot massage opposite our hotel was good and affordable as well. Will definitely come back next time :)

3CE Travel Make-Up Brushes

Omg! I've neglected my blog for 2 months now! ><

Nothing much has happened since then; work is same same, a new project to handle since last month, koibito is back from Melbourne, and I've been spending a lot of money shopping ><

One of my purchases is the 3CE Travel Size Make-Up Brushes <3

Note: This is not an advertorial post. The written post is based purely on my opinion/thoughts and I have purchased it with my own money :)

I saw this baby on Groupon for RM59! I had to have it!

The brushes are really really soft! Very nice texture and really smooth!

To be honest, I haven't used them since I got them last month due to acne (as usual), but I thought I'd blog about it and share the love! :D

Though they mentioned that its a travel size set, its not as small as I thought it would be.

The above picture is to illustrate how big the brush is beside my Nivea hand cream lol.

This is my first set of brushes and my first purchase of 3CE :D

I'm just waiting patiently for my acne to subside before using these babies hehe.

Goodies from Tokyo

Finally a blog post since ages!

I have been so busy and tied up with other things that I totally forgot I have a blog lol.

A quick update;

1) House renovation

My parents are gonna get our house renovated. So, we had to packed all our things, threw loads away, and shifted into a temporary home to let that happen. Was so busy last week moving some furniture over - only the ones I could carry lol. 

I'm in charge of drawing the plans and space planning as well. Busy busy busy.

2) Work

The project that I'm involved in went into Documentation stage a month ago - was so stressed and busy! Preparing for Tender phase in the mean time.

3) Movies

I have watched X-Men Days of Future Past and Maleficient recently. Really interesting concept, good graphics and interesting plot. Ratings may boo Maleficient but I thought it was nice lol. I'm keen to browse MAC's limited edition Maleficient make up range xD

Tokyo Trip - Day 6

Day 6 - Shinjuku, Takadanobaba

We had many plans for that day; Edo Castle, Shinjuku National Garden, and Yasukuni Shrine at Ichigaya. 

BUT! Sadly it rained :( We couldn't do much outdoor tourist-ish stuff, so, we stayed indoors most of the time. Thank goodness that day wasn't as cold as the rest but the rain made it chilly ><

The first place we stopped at Shinjuku was Kinokuniya. There are about 6 floors if I'm not mistaken, but, the only thing I was interested in are the magazines with free gifts lol. I don't know the term to describe it ><

 I settled for Lis Liza lol. The price is cheaper by double the price compared to Malaysia!

Price: 1,200 YEN (if I'm not mistaken). My first Liz Lisa product xD Super adorable collaboration with My Melody <3

Soba for lunch! A rather big portion I would say, because it came with rice too lol.

After that, we went to Muji, Uniqlo and GU.

I would recommend to visit GU. Its a clothing store similar to Uniqlo, but I find some things are much more cheaper. Fashion wise, not bad :)

Also, that day was the worst day ever for me;
1) My feet were super swollen
2) My bunions hurt like mad
3) I was limping most of the time
4) Had to sit down a lot
5) Walked really slow

Take it from me, don't follow what I did; walk non stop without resting, wearing tight shoes + socks.

I suffered a lot that day - it was painful. I felt so helpless and old T.T

Since my feet were aching, we rested and had tea at Loccitane Cafe.

This is the best chocolate creme brulee I've ever tasted! A very good choice indeed :)

We sat beside a bookshelf filled with books only about Provence, a perfect opportunity to read and relax :)

After that, we decided to go to Takadanobaba to have a look see at Shimamura.

I LOVE SHIMAMURA! The fashion is awesome and its affordable. The amount of clothes to shoes, bags, hair accessories and etc is awesome! A highly recommend place by me! :D

Unfortunately, that was all we did at for the day. We went home early for the day due to my poor feet :( I feel sorry that my brother couldn't make the fullest of that day because of me ><

Walking continuously has taken its toll on me on Day 6. Don't worry, Day 7 will be better! :D
